NSA Mohib in New York to address UNSC session

KABUL: Afghan National Security Adviser, Hamdullah Mohib, arrived in New York on Sunday to deliver speech at the UN Security Council on situation in Afghanistan.

“Hamdullah Mohib will participate and speak at the UN security council meeting regarding the situation in Afghanistan as well as at the UN sanctions committee,” the office of the NSC said in a statement.

NSA Mohib is expected to meet with UN officials during his visit to New York City.

According to the statement, Afghan NSA will also engage in discussions with New York City-based media and think tank community.
